Message Hey all...

went and wrung the Z out good for the first time since I did the LS swap. A buddy and I did the 421/321 loop from bristol, across to boone, and back through elizabethton, about a hundred miles, more than half of which is up and down the mountains, tight twisty roads.

The car performed very well, and I really like the low end torque for the tight twisties. The only problem I had is that the front right brakes got really noisy when they got hot. Kind of a grinding squeak. The rotors need to be turned, they have a bit of a warp to them, so when I was on the brakes hard, this intermittent growling squeak sound. The brakes never faded, and continued to work just fine, just noisy.

The pads are the EBC red stuff brake pads, and none of the other wheels made any such noise. That is what is really odd. Anyone ever experienced this, or have any idea what it might be?
